Jared Marsden is a skilled home inspector who has been trained and certified by the Inspection Technology Institute (ITI). This means that he is capable of inspecting all major elements of the property and providing a practiced opinion on the present condition, operation, and function of all major systems of the home. "Jared is not only experienced at what he does, he loves it. I wish professionals in other fields had the same attention to detail and skill that he does. He caught hard to see things from deadbolts not locking fully to non-visible things like a small water leak that would have caused interior damage to walls.

Not only does Jared know his field, he is able to explain everything in layman's terms for even the first-time home buyer and documents/photographs everything! In photographs, he even uses his thumb to relatively size damages; this tells me he really cares about his customers.

Throughout the inspection, Jared taught me things to watch out for in maintaining a house and provided me with a booklet including a final walk-through checklist and home-operation/maintenance guide. These resources, in addition to his inspection report, have been invaluable. If I ever moved again in the area I'd definitely go with Jared again!"

About Our BrickKicker

Jared Marsden

As an F-16 maintenance technician for The United States Air Force, my duties included daily inspections and maintenance along with periodic detailed inspections of all major aircraft components. While the Air Force treated me well, my passion leaned more towards the housing industry. After my discharge from the Air Force, I moved back home to Athens and attended the University of Georgia. I graduated in the fall 2004 with a degree in Housing. My background as an F-16 mechanic and lifelong interest in houses along with a genuine interest in anything mechanical provides me with a perfect background to be a home inspector. My life experience combined with professional training will help protect your investment.
