Your St. Louis BrickKicker has over 25 years of engineering, management, and quality control experience, both in manufacturing and industry, and in residential applications as well. A graduate of Hancock High School, this Air Force veteran is also a graduate of Washington University's School of Engineering.
In addition to the rigorous training Mike received through the Inspection Technology Institute, he has also been a nationally certified residential radon tester, and is an Associate Member of ASHI (The American Society of Home Inspectors), and stays up-to-date through their Continuing Education program on a regular basis.
He takes great pride in the thoroughness of his reports (which always include a lot of detailed photos), and his ability to work with clients, helping them to understand his findings and the options they have available to them. His goal is to always make his home inspections a positive experience for both his clients and their agents.

- You are invited and strongly encouraged to accompany Craig through your home during the inspection.
- You will receive his qualified opinion on the present condition, operation, and function of all major elements of the property.
- Once the inspection is complete, you will receive a comprehensive report with a descriptive overview (including pictures) of your home from the ground up.

Under typical industry standards, a multi-unit building with 4 or less units is residential, while 5 units or more is classified as commercial. Pest inspections are conducted by our licensed professionals to perform inspections of building structures to determine damage or possibility of damage from insects, bugs, termites or dry rot conditions. The BrickKicker inspector is looking for wood invaders such as termites, beetles, and insects such as cockroaches or carpenter ants, among other pests.
Radon is a naturally occurring gas caused by the decomposition of uranium. This is found in our soil throughout the world. The challenge is, when a home is built over any level of radon the gas could enter the home. Scientist have proven that Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer but can easily be repaired. It is only through testing for radon gas can you determine a repair is needed.
While a traditional home inspection is designed to look at the elements of an existing home a new construction inspection can go one step further. The BrickKicker inspector is trained to also look at the quality of the construction and help you prepare the Contractor’s Punch-list. This is a list of items found in new construction which are either incomplete, missing or completed in a less than qualify manner.
